The FCC requires certain communications services and equipment to be accessible to and usable by people with disabilities:
- Telephone services and equipment
- Advanced communications services and equipment
- Internet browsers built into mobile phones
These service providers and equipment manufacturers must provide the FCC with the name and contact information of the person (or persons) in their companies who are authorized to resolve accessibility complaints. The FCC makes this information available to consumers who want to contact the company’s customer care representative directly about accessibility questions, concerns, or complaints.
Online - You may search the FCC’s contact information database for companies by name.
If you need assistance, please contact the FCC Disability Rights Office at dro@fcc.gov or call 202-418-2517 (voice), or 1-844-432-2275 (videophone).
